Kate Crane 366 Day Challenge

Half a year is already gone! I never kept a diary in all my life so that is achievement! Well here is my July page. I covered the acrylic paint using a credit card in yellow, turquiose and orange, then I applied collage over parts of it. When this was dry I cut out offset squares from my CriCut machine.

I added the title July 2012 with a template.

Here is my June page, my white pen ran out and I used a black pen and unfortunately the ink ran!

  1. Love the vibrant colours of your July page Carol. Makes you feel summery just looking at it! Mind you, as I'm typing this it's raining outside amidst bursts of sunshine - can't win can you?!!

  2. I did like your June pages but this is brilliant, loving the vibrant colours, it is how July should be depicted, although maybe not today. Hopefully tomorrow will bring sunshine! Crafty hugs, Anne x

  8. Love your happy, summery colours. I thought I was always the only one where pens ran out of ink in the middle of something! Best wishes from Kaiserswerth in Rhineland, Valerie

  10. Wow! I just love that color scheme, and the odd squares are such an awesome twist. I'm going to have to tuck that idea away for future inspiration ;) And your June page is BEYOND COOL! An underwater scene with bubbles? It can't get much cooler than that. I'm off to stare googly-eyed at some more of your creations. Thank you for commenting on my blog!

  11. Great pages for both months! I love how you changed up the typical use of squares into cicles and wonky squares-they bring nice movement to the pages!

  12. Terrific Carol, both of them. The background of July is really vibrant and the yellow squares contrast so well. I had to laugh at all the undersea creatures for July - so appropriate!

  13. Oops! Here I am sneaking in at last minute! Well, it’s still July isn’t it?! Love the bright yellow for July and the 'random' way you added the daily journaling shapes to the page. Well done for keeping up so far!
