Sunday Stamper - Week 211 - Pocket and Simon Says Stamp and Show - Depth of Distress
I bought this Tim Holz Bigz Die "Vintage globe" at a show and made the globe soon after but I put it aside until I had a project to put it in. I put some distress embossing ink on the holder of the globe and put some brushed cordroy embossing powder and heated it up. I then sanded the embossed area to make it look more distressed. As you can see in the picture below.
One of Tim Holtz's papers has a map so I cut to size and embossed with vintage photo distress around the edges. I made a pocket with his paper and distressed it and stamped the saying on it.
These are all the things I put in the pocket starting with Tim Holtz Ticket Strip which I stamped and then I distressed it with vintage photo. I cut up the Film Strip out of Kraft-core paper which I then sanded to make it look more distressed. The pictures I put inside it were from Tim Holtz's papers and I also used two bingo cards. I wish to put it into Sunday Stamper and Simon Says Stamp and Show Distress.

Hi Carol, I hesitated and decided not to buy that die and got the camera/clock smaller dies instead. Now I am slightly regretting it! Your piece is lovely and really like all the bits you have put into the pocket. A x
