I went out to a garden centre and saw this paper mache letter and I thought that it would make a nice present for my mum who has just had an operation. I gave it 3 coats of white acrylic paint and then sprayed it with Glitter Mist in Diamond Mist to give it a sparkle. I then looked through my flowers in my stash and as my mum had commented that she liked the Hydrangea flowers in a previous project I decided to add them to the letter.

And finally a close up of the top of the "J". I chose a small tag to wish her "Get Well Soon" on the back and she was very pleased with it.
Oh Carol, this is just gorgeous, I love what you have done with that letter, the flowers and butterflies are wonderful. What a lovely Daughter you are, your Mum will be thrilled I am sure. Really beautiful! A x

ReplyDeleteCarol, this is impossibly pretty!! I would love to receive something like that so I'm sure your Mum was over the moon - if she doesn't like it, I could find a home for it as I share her initial. . . . . !!! Hope she's on the road to recovery.
