Grungy Monday 39!

This challenge was set by Linda from Studio L3 using one of Tim Holtz's alcohol-ink techniques.  I applied a variety of different acohol inks onto a piece of felt attached to an ink applicator tool and then swiped it over some glossy card stock in two diiferent directions to create a tartan effect. I stamped the card with Tim Holtz's Collection, Stampers Anonymous "Artful Flight" and mounted the result on a pink tag with a pink ribbon.
I tried several other variations:

And with the next one I added a couple of diagonal swipes.

I hope you have as much fun as I had playing about with this technique.

  1. So pretty, Carol! I love your soft colors and the birdcage is such a beautiful contrast! Great job!

  2. Looks great, Carol! Love that birdcage image and how it pops off the plaid.

  3. Pretty plaid you made here. Love that stamped image.

  4. Hi Carol, howrya doing? I love these plaids that you have created - gorgeous colour schemes. The birdcage looks absolutely stunning over that first one - really gorgeous. Anna xx
