MAY 2012
This is my contribution to 12 Tags of 2012 by Tim Holtz. You can go on the linked site and see his instructions to make the tag.
I used Rangers Adirondack Eggplant for the background stamp on the tissue paper.
I found that I had some little flowers which I distressed with Spring distress colours. I then enameled the flowers by dragging them through hot melted utee using the back of the melting pot. I didn't have a spool to put them in so I used the stamp from Tim Holtz's Haberdashery "packet of needles".
Instead of using a key charm like Tim I used a flattened bottle top and cut out a circle from Tim Holtz ATC cards with the head of the lady from the pattern in the sewing room.
I always send something to my daughter who is living in London doing a Masters degree but she requested that I don't put them up my blog before she has received them. We have had a lovely holiday during the recent hot weather, it has been so relaxing but now we're home and I have got the blog up. So if your interested in what other bloggers are doing go to Tim Holtz site.
Very nice take on Tim's Tag Carol. I like your innovation in using the bottle cap and love the way the blue of the needle packet really sets the whole tag off. x
ReplyDeleteHow clever and inventive you've been here Carol! I love the elements you've improvised with. I think I've avoided doing the tags because my brain might not make the link between what I have and what I don't have!!
