Sunday Stamper - Week 202 - Summer in the City

Summer colours is what Hel's is asking for after all this bad weather. We went out to Southport today and it was very sunny walking along Lord Street, and it inspired me to do these two tags.

I painted the tags with acrylic paint and marked them bottle tops, credit cards and Lego pieces. On the right hand edge I used different stamps from Dylusions stamps Around the Edge. I then used Paper Artsy Quaint Village for the upper tag and a Paper Artsy windmill for the lower tag.

I ripped out a page from an old dictionary and I stamped the two houses and the windmill and then coloured them in with watercolour pencils and blended them with a wet brush. The saying on the first tag is from Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz's Collection Urban Chic and the saying on the second tag is from Paper Artsy Love and Kisses 1.

I hope this brightens Hel's day as the trip to Southport did for us. Here's to the summer!!!

  6. These are gorgeous Carol! My favourite has to be the windmill one - it's totally fab. I like the other one too but I have a thing about windmills and I really love all the detail in this one.
