Sunday Stamper - Week 200 - I Got Your Number

You want to play some Bingo?

For this project I took some 5" x 7" canvas board and painted it with Dylusions acrylic paints: yellow, teal, cornflower, lagoon and white (no longer available). I then used Tim Holtz's Mixed Media Stamps by Stampers Anonymous, honeycomb and dots with lines, with yellow, lagoon and purple acrylic paints. I wasn't too happy with the effect so I used my Glimmer Mists, juniper and lemon zest. This gave it a more pleasing appearamce. I still hadn't decided on my design apart from wanting it to fit with the Sunday Stamper - Week 200 - I Got Your Number theme.
I started by stamping in black the numbers from Stuff to Say by Tin Holtz's Stampers Anonymous, then I got the idea of doing bingo cards from Tim Holtz's Lost and Found papers. I cut out the words "Bingo" twice in different colours from the paper and also cut out the various numbers available. Now I had a theme going.

I put on a Tim Holtz word stick which said "PLAY" and a Tim Holtz Idea-ology clock.  I took some Idea-ology numerals and decided to emboss them with embossing powder "eggplant" to make them fit in with the colour scheme. I finished by putting some faux screw brads in the corners.

When I finally had my idea for a theme "Numbers" I really enjoyed myself doing this project. Well done to Hels on her 200th Sunday Stampers anniversary, how does she come up with all these ideas every Sunday?  You inspire me...
